Guess Who's Back??

Its been half a year since I last blogged.

Well now I'm back!!

New wrapping, new look, new title, same ol' guy writing the same bullshit. So what do you think bout my new template huh?

It's been a super busy (and lazy) year for me. Not to say I'm so busy that i got no time to eat or shit la, but its just that for me, I felt kinda tied with the whole blogging thingy. You need to maintain it, update it, edit post, publish post, arrrghhh like you have strings attached. Like keeping a pet or something. Sort off lah!

Well then you may ask "why in the world are you blogging right now if you're getting bored of it?".

Well cuz I'm working and working is boring and things either come in a bunch or they don't come at all. So since I've finally got past all the assignments and tests and finals and left Penang for internship, the only thing i can do right now in the office is to blog.

There's a lot of things to update but let's leave it all for next time. Updates soon on my internship

Old Me

I attended my oldest cousin's wedding on last Friday
Congrats Raymond & Ivy!
Met up with all my uncles, aunties, cousins, ah-sam, ah-pak, unknown people, bla bla bla.

I was sitting in the same table as my younger cousin Steph, and we chat for awhile before the food was served.

Steph : Hey, remember the last time I saw you in One Utama?

Me : Erm.....(trying hard to think back when was the last time i saw her)....Owh yea...quite some
time ago...

Steph : So.....is she your girlfriend?

Me : (Stoned)....NO! We're just friends

Steph : Har? Why don't you get a girlfriend?

Me : Why? Ain't it nice to be single now? I mean....I'm still young what. Enjoy life first.

Steph : You're still young?? For your age, its time to get a girlfriend

Me : Where got? Hello, I'm just 21 years old!! Like that also called old meh?

Steph : WHAATT!! You're 21?!?!?! I thought you're like 27 or something like that. HAR....that
means you're like 5 years older than me only!

Me : WHAAAATTTT??!! (Louder than her) DO I LOOK LIKE 28 TO YOU???!! I LOOK THAT
OLD MEH???

Steph : No laaaaah, you look mature laa....

Me : (PHEWW.....some sort of relieved)

Steph : No, actually you DO look old (giggles)

Me : zzzzzzzz.........owhh food is here, makan...... makan

This was one of the most stoned moment, my younger cousin saying that I'm old, 7 years older than my original age. I mean, we've known each other for like ages and she thinks I'm that old.
This also proved another thing, we've never been kept in touch for a very long time.
But me! being 28!!! Moment of speechless.
It makes a person wanna LOL and start questioning his manhood at the same time.

But its true, that I've not been keeping in touch with my relatives for a long time. And every time we DO meet up, there's no need to anticipate any upcoming conversations.

uncle/auntie/cousin X : Hello Vincent! Wow you've grown so much. So where are you studying
now?

uncle/auntie/cousin X : Owhh, What course? College or Uni?

uncle/auntie/cousin X : Okay, so what year are you in now? How many more years?

uncle/auntie/cousin X : Penang is a nice place huh. The food the very nice right?

uncle/auntie/cousin X : Okay make sure you study hard ok!

I think its about time to catch up with my relatives. It's like we only gathered for events, celebrations, have dinner or lunch, spent most of the time eating, part of the time chatting (like the dialogue above) and bid each other goodbye at the end of the day. Maybe its the generation gap. I don't know. Whatever it is.....its time to sign off for now! *yawns*

p.s : Do I really look that old???
